Town of Kingsville Salary Disclosure, 2024
Kingsville is releasing its list of employees who earned over $100,000 in 2024, which is required to be provided to the provincial government annually under Ontario’s Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act.
The reported salaries include all compensation, including overtime, which means some employees may appear on the list despite having lower base salaries.
The Town commissions an independent salary review every three to four years to compare the Town’s salaries with neighbouring municipalities. This review was completed in the fall of 2024 and will be reflected in 2025 salaries.
The $100,000 threshold has remained the same since 1996. The Bank of Canada’s inflation calculator suggests that amount would be equivalent to approximately $180,000 in 2024. In recent years, more employees across the province have found their names included on the list, including frontline workers, building inspectors, police officers, firefighters, and teachers.
Kingsville’s salary increases are subject to good performance reviews and include different components, such as cost of living and years of service.
See Town of Kingsville salaries above $100,000 in 2024. The Province will eventually publish its list on their website. We encourage residents to look at similar positions in neighbouring municipalities to see that Kingsville’s salaries are competitive with our region.
