Town of Kingsville Salary Disclosure, 2025
The Town of Kingsville is committed to transparency and accountability in its operations. Each year, under the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, Ontario Municipalities report employees who earned more than $100,000 in the previous calendar year. Kingsville is once again pre-emptively releasing its 2025 list to the public.
The salaries reported include total compensation, such as overtime. As a result, some employees may appear on the list even if their base salary is lower. Year‑to‑year changes can also occur due to operational demands, temporary acting roles, project‑related workload, or staffing coverage needs.
To ensure fairness and competitiveness, the Town commissions an independent salary review every three to four years to compare its compensation with that of neighbouring municipalities. The most recent review was completed in fall 2024 and is reflected in the 2025 salary figures.
It is important to note that the $100,000 disclosure threshold has not changed since 1996. The Bank of Canada Inflation Calculator suggests that amount would be equivalent to $183,295.45 in 2025. This means the threshold no longer reflects the salaries of only upper‑level administrators. Across Ontario, the list increasingly includes frontline employees such as firefighters, building inspectors, police officers, and teachers.
Kingsville’s salary increases are guided by a structured compensation framework that includes performance evaluations, cost‑of‑living adjustments, and years of service. This approach ensures salaries remain fair, competitive, and fiscally responsible, helping the Town attract and retain the qualified staff required to deliver high‑quality public services.
You can view Kingsville’s 2025 list of employees earning $100,000 and above. The Province will also publish the complete list from all public‑sector organizations on its website once available. Residents are encouraged to compare similar positions across neighbouring municipalities to see that Kingsville’s compensation levels remain aligned with regional standards.
