Pros:

• Celebrating Halloween on a Saturday could make the holiday safer for kids, allowing trick-or-treating to begin in daylight hours.
• It would make Halloween more enjoyable and less stressful for people. Kids and parents could fully enjoy the day without the rush of returning home from school and work. Parents wouldn't have to worry about kids staying up past bedtime due to a sugar high.
• It minimizes the impact on schools, as kids would be more focused, instead of distracted by the excitement of the evening ahead.

Cons:

• Some argue that moving Halloween to Saturday may lead to kids being out on the street during one of the more dangerous nights of the week. Additionally, there may be an increase in alcohol consumption compared to a regular weeknight, which could lead to dangerous situations.
• Moving Halloween to Saturday might give kids more time to engage in mischievous activities. Halloween is often associated with pranks; moving it to Saturday could lead to kids staying out later and causing trouble.
