Westbound Right Hand Turn Lane - Main and Jasperson

The Town of Kingsville is beginning a new project to improve traffic capacity and active transportation downtown. The project includes:

• Installing a new westbound right-hand turn lane on Main at Jasperson
• Extending the existing multi-use path on Main Street East from Pelee Island Winery to Jasperson
• Extending the southbound left-hand turn lane on Jasperson and converting the Zehrs driveway to a right in/out access to accommodate the change
• Improving accessibility and street lighting

Construction is scheduled the week of July 8th, weather permitting.

The intent of this project is to:

• Improve traffic capacity in this area. This project is a recommended initiative in our Comprehensive Transportation Master Plan (CTMP)
• Improve active transportation to the commercial area (this pathway extension is also in our CTMP as a recommended project)
