It is anticipated that the Town’s Wastewater Collection and Treatment System will see an increase in serviced population over a 25-year planning horizon to 2046.
The Town of Kingsville is carrying out a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to expand or upgrade the Kingsville Wastewater Collection and Treatment System.
This Class EA will identify and evaluate alternative solutions and designs to expand and upgrade the wastewater system. Upgrades/expansions are required to meet future servicing needs in a sustainable manner. The evaluation of alternatives will consider environmental, social, technical and financial impacts and benefits to all stakeholders.
Study Area
The study area includes the Town of Kingsville, the Hamlet of Ruthven, and the Lakeshore Residential West settlement areas, which are currently serviced by the Lakeshore West Water Pollution Control Plant and the Kingsville Lagoons.
