The Town of Kingsville is constructing a new Community Centre in Cottam, replacing the Ridgeview Field House and Cottam Library. This decision was made after a facilities building review in 2023. Budget was approved in 2024.

After a needs assessment with Cottam user groups and consideration of public feedback, the town received two design options for public review and feedback.

Each facility design incorporates:

  • An outdoor pavilion
  • Community Hall
  • Library space
  • Storage for user groups (i.e Cottam Soccer and Cottam Baseball)

    The Town of Kingsville believes in the importance of open communication and respectful debate. We encourage all residents to participate in our open forum and discuss the new Cottam Community Centre. Administrative staff and members of council are reading through comments to gain insight into overall public sentiment, but due to limited staff resources, we are not able to answer every question.
